It is natural for a young unmarried man or woman to think about going out on a date or even just to have a partner for a night. How should be a single man or woman select a date? Some are being influenced by their appearance and they prefer to find someone with a pleasing personality. Others tend to look for material benefits for security and securing their needs or wants. Have you ever thought of these kinds of approach that may lead to a happy and romantic date? Remember that each and every day there are many love struck people is on the air. I am quite sure that some of us are just busy preparing for the sweetest yet memorable moment of our lives, so why don’t you try reading these tips that might be of help to you.

1.) Take a romantic candle date for two - remember girls are more expressive than boys are. They are much into emotions. Perhaps they might be flattered if you take your girl for a romantic date for two. Who knows it will add to your good points.

2.) Be sure to pick up your girl on time - always have the word of honor and never be late with your agreed time. It is better for you to come early than her. She’ll be impressed on how you make her feel that she’s important.

3.) Always pay the amount when dating - boys should pay the amount every time you go out with your date. If in case your money is not sufficient to go out, try to her send her letter, cards, or roses instead.

4.) If both parties agree to a group date well that’s good for you – it is much cheaper in subdividing the payments. As they say, the more the merrier and it would lots of fun.

5.) Have a good and worthwhile conversation - in dating do not just sit there. Make use of your public speaking skill to feel your presence as a companion and that is as important to you. Always have a sense of humor to avoid boredom.

6.) Always keep your own self neat and clean - this is the most important thing to do in having a date. One should always see to it that he or she is neat and clean to avoid discouragement. First impression last. Who knows you date will tell you secrets to others.

Reason, Season, and Lifetime

People always come into your life for a reason, a season, and a lifetime. When you figure out which it is you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend to you and they are. They are these for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled and their work is done. The prayer you spent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season and like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall – the season eventually ends.


LIFETIME relationships teach you a lifetime of lessons, those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person or people (anyway), and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. If you experience stress often, it can cause major upsets in your life if you don't developing coping mechanisms to help relieve it. While some stress can be motivating, such as deadlines for projects, too much stress can make your life miserable as you wonder whether you'll be able to handle it. Although, some stress is unavoidable, such as that produced by other people or unexpected situations, developing ways to deal with it can help you feel less anxious and learn to make decisions in a calmer manner. Here are 10 ways you can relieve the stress in your life.

1. Identify stressors.
Many people feel totally stressed; some of the emotional symptoms of stress are anxiety, fear, mental pain, frustration, anger, and hopelessness. Focusing on the sources of stress can help you develop ways to better cope with it. Writing down a list of the things that cause you stress is a good first step to reducing stressors. The act of writing down a stressor forces you to acknowledge it as a problem; while some problems cannot be easily resolved, others can be easily removed by focusing on solutions. For instance, if your 6-year old child constantly makes you late several mornings a week because she can't decide what to wear, spending 30 minutes each Sunday afternoon with her selecting outfits for the coming week will help you to start off the morning with much less stress.


2. Set priorities.
Some people feel stressed because they have just too many things going on in their lives. Since, everyone has a limit of only 24 hours in a day sometimes you will have to say "no" to some of the demands on your time. Deciding what is most important to you and your family, and then making those things your priorities, will help you to decide which stressful things can be eliminated. For instance, if you want your family to eat healthy meals but find that cooking every night after work is becoming stressful, find some healthy takeout food or see if your spouse or older children want to share the cooking duties. Doing everything for yourself can often inhibit creativity in others who would be happy to share in new household or workplace duties. Deciding in advance what you can and cannot do in a time period allows you to delegate responsibilities to others and feel more in control of your time.

3. Learn to control reactions.
People differ in how they react to stress in their lives. Reactions are really the key to dealing with stress; if you are constantly overreacting to small stressors; your body is already taxed when more serious problems come along. Learning to deal with minor irritations at work and at home in a more relaxed manner can help you save your energy for major troubles. Visualize different problems that you face and think of various reactions you could have and what the results would be. For instance, if a co-worker is not doing his part of the project you're both working on to your satisfaction, visualize yourself screaming and telling him how incompetent he is, ignoring his incompetence, showing him an easier and more efficient way to accomplish his goal, and pretending his work is okay and then redoing it yourself at the last minute. As you visualize the different results, you will probably find that some solutions would lead to continued stress, or even make new problems. Learning to deal with other people in a more relaxed manner is essential to controlling stress in your life.

4. Learn to let go.
Some problems that cause endless stress are often not really that important. By identifying problems that cause you stress, you will be able to let go of the minor irritations that are bothering you. If you feel you always have to be in total control of your life, you are bound to experience stress as things happen that you can't control. If your life has become tied to a strict timetable try letting go of just 5 or 10 minutes of each day to do nothing. Step outside and look at the trees and flowers, feel the sun on your face, listen to the sounds around you, and just relax

5. Exercise.
Stress can cause serious physical problems in your body. Often people who don't show strong reactions internalize stress, which can lead to hypertension, indigestion, insomnia, headaches, or other ailments. Keeping your body in good physical shape is important even if you're not under stress, and in stressful situations it's even more important to be healthy. Exercising can be a great stress reliever; running on a treadmill, joining a yoga class, swimming laps, or cycling with friends are all good for your body and can take your mind off stress.

6. Watch your diet.
In stressful situations it's often easy to skip breakfast, grab whatever's most available for lunch and keep going with coffee and sugary snacks. This wrecks havoc on your body, as your blood sugar and energy go up and down all day. Plan your diet in advance to allow for small meals frequently, such as cheese, fruit, veggies, and whole grains, and try to avoid excessive caffeine, sugar, and alcohol. Eat breakfast, keep healthy snacks in your desk drawer at work, and eat frequently. When your blood sugar is low, your attention span suffers, so don't go all day without eating; that just adds to your stress and when you're starving it's easy to make unhealthy choices.

7. Laugh.
If you don't see anything funny about your life, you need a good laugh. Laughing is good for the body and the soul, and humor can help relieve stress. Watch funny movies, read comic strips, or look up some jokes on the internet. Some hospitals have now included "laugh rooms" where patients with serious illnesses can relieve some of the tension by watching funny films and laughing, which actually causes a chemical reaction to occur in the brain. Humor is a good way to relieve stress.

8. Pet your pet.
Dogs, cats, and other animals can be great stress relievers. Petting a purring cat, throwing a ball for your dog to retrieve, or going on a jaunt atop your favorite horse can make you feel calm and peaceful. Pets can be comforts to those who have stressful lives; coming home and finding a loyal pet waiting for you is reassuring and allows you to unwind in the company of a totally non-judgmental friend. If your building doesn't allow pets, walk a friend's dog or volunteer at an animal shelter, or just go watch the fish swim around at the pet store.

9. Get a hobby.
Many people who have stressful lives find hobbies relaxing. Having a hobby allows you to change focus and forget about problems that are causing stress in your life. Whether you like fishing, knitting, photography, or woodworking, a hobby can relieve stress and let you have something to which you can look forward If you're facing a lot of stress, taking up a hobby that you enjoy can help you unwind at the end of the day.

10. Sleep.
Not getting enough sleep can lead to stress, as you will feel groggy and unfocused the next day after tossing and turning all night. As insomnia can be a symptom of too much stress in your life, getting enough sleep is very important if you want to relieve it. Most people need at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night to function properly the next day; if you get more or less your performance can suffer. Deep sleep is especially important, and if you wake up frequently this can be impaired; if you can't seem to get to sleep on your own, your doctor may be able to help you with this problem.

Time Knows How Great Love Is

Hi friends, it’s me Elle. Here I am again. It was 3 years ago when I wrote the same kind of short story. Well, not exactly the same, but almost the same. If you could still remember it was more of an imaginary story that I created on my mind.

Once upon a time in a far away land there was a small island called Paradise where all the feelings live. There was Happiness, who is full of glee and always experienced the joy in life. In the other corner of that island lived Sadness, who never knows how to smile and always filled with so much pain in agony. There was a big castle in the island which was owned by Knowledge, who is capable of knowing everything even to the smallest through the most complicated details about different kinds of things. Last but not the least, there is Love. She is the most beautiful thing ever existed in that island. Everyone adored her because of her precious charms and beauty that captivates all the eyes and heart of everyone living in that island. She lives in a small lovely home near the shore. Love knows nothing, but to love and be loved.

One day, everyone in the island where asked to join the gathering because there will be a big announcement to all the feelings in the island. Everyone thought it was something good, but to their surprised it was something that they least expect it to happen. It was being announced that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. All the feelings went home and prepared their boats to leave the island in no time, but to everyone’s surprised it was Love was the only one who decided to stay in the island. All of the feelings we’re confused and asked, “Love, why is it that you want to stay? You won’t be able to survive here all by yourself and the island is sinking. If you stayed here longer, eventually you’ll die in vain and no one can help you.” Hearing all those cries from the other feelings, all did Love reply was, “I decided to stay here because I want to preserve this little island we called Paradise until to the very last moment.”

Everyone did not understand what Love wants to happen, so they all decided to leave and go on their own journey. When the island was almost under the water, Love had finally decided that it was time for her to leave the sinking island. She starts looking for someone to ask for help.

Richness with his grand and luxurious ship passed by and Love asked, “Richness, can I come with you on your boat? I need someone to help me get out of this island. Richness answered, “As much as I want you to get in my boat, but I would like apologize for that won’t happen. There is too much silver and gold in my boat and there would be no room for you here.”

Love never gave up and kept on waiting until she saw Vanity who was riding in a beautiful vessel. Love decided to ask Vanity for help and cried out loud, “Vanity, would you please do the honor of helping me get out of this island?” Since, Vanity is conceited and has an excessive admiration especially to her own self - she never let Love get on her boat and said, “Love, I can’t help you. As you can see this boat is perfectly made just for me and look at you, you’re all wet and you will damage all the beautiful things I have in my boat. Farewell, Love.”

Suddenly, Love felt sadness inside of her. She was overwhelmed when she saw Sadness going through her direction. She waved her hand, to get Sadness’ attention because his mind is always set elsewhere and could not think of anything, but feeling sad. Love was screaming out her voice and said, “Sadness! Sadness! Please, let me go with you. I promise not to damage the things you have on your boat.” And because Sadness is suffering from too much pain and grieving in agony, he answered, “Love, I am so sorry, but I just needed to be alone right now. I can’t bear the thought of being around with you when I know that I am holding too much grudges in my own self.”

Love is starting to feel sad and alone while being stuck Paradise. She’s thinking that this could be end of her existence because anytime soon the island will disappear and it will be nowhere to be found. She wanted to swim, so that she could cross the open sea and find an island where she could feel safe. Unfortunately, none of those things will happen because Love does not know how to swim. While sitting there and waiting, Love saw another boat coming. It was Happiness. By then, she felt so happy and jumping with so much joy in her heart. Love was waving her hand and screaming out loud, “Happiness! Happiness! Over here, please take me with you.” But Happiness did not hear that Love was calling out to him because he was filled with so much joy.

Love felt devastated. Suddenly, she breaks down and cried for she is experiencing so much pain inside her heart. She decided to bid farewell to all the feelings for she will never be the same Love like she was before. Love decided to drown herself together with the sinking island and swore that she will never exist. Before she was about to give up her life, she heard a voice saying, “Come Love, I will take you with me. You don’t deserve to experience all of these bad things in life for you are the most precious of all the feelings.” When she finally came back to her consciousness, Love found herself on a new island where she got there safe and sound. Love felt so blessed that an elder saved her life. She was filled with so much joy in her heart that she forgot to ask the elder’s name as the elder went on his way to his journey. It was then Love realized how much she owed the elder her life.

While walking alone in the island, Love found Knowledge and asked him, “Who was it that helped me and saved my life from drowning in that sinking island, Paradise?” Knowledge looked at Love and answered “Love, it was Time who saved your life and brought you into this new island.” To her surprised, she could not describe how she feels and had been wondering and filled with so much joy. Love said, “That’s really strange but deep inside it made me feel grateful, but why did Time help me when no one else would?” Knowledge looked at Love and smile answering her questions with a deep wisdom and sincerity, “Love it is important for you to know that only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is which not everyone of us would. I guess, this would also help you understand that you’re existence is very important, not only to yours alone, but to those who have you in their lives which made them feel important and knows how to value their worth.”

Signs of Sneezing

It’s just so funny when I was trying to go over to some of my stuff when I was in high school and found this one. I decided to post this on here and share it to everyone because I think it’s so cute especially to the girls. They would have to look at this list and see the meaning of their sneeze which I did the same thing when I was in my teenage years, haha! 36 Christian Ways to Reduce Stress

“Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what might happen tomorrow and somehow it does not happen, you will then have to worry in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.”

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time, so you can start your day right and don’t need to be always on a hurry.
4. Say NO to projects that won’t fit into your time schedule, or else that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate certain tasks to people who are capable of doing it. Don’t try to pretend that you’re Mr or Miss Know-it-all.
6. Simplify or try to get rid of the clutters in your life.
7. Less is more (Although, one is often not enough, two are often too many).
8. Allow extra time to do things that are important and to get to places at an exact time.
9. Try to pace up yourself. Spread out some big changes and difficult projects over time and don’t pile up the hard things all together
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you to do and let go of the anxiety you feel inside. If you can’t do anything about the situation, forget it because certain things happen beyond your control.
12. Live within your budget. Don’t use credit card for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups like an extra car keys in your wallet, an extra house keys buried in the garden, or an extra stamps and etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut) This single piece of advice can prevent a huge amount of getting yourself in trouble.

For most people, cooking is the means to an end. It’s often one of those things we all do so often that it can begin to feel like a chore. Aside from what you make or how long it takes, cooking together has its benefits and can certainly strengthen any relationship, no matter if you’re a home cook extraordinaire or an expert at dialing for takeout.

Here are five good reasons to make the time to get cooking with your partner:

1. The two of you will get some quality alone time in. Whether you’re dating, newlyweds, or are in the full swing of marriage, getting alone time with your significant other is a nice change of pace from any average meal time. Plus, contrary to eating out at a restaurant, cooking together is time to interactively engage.

Have kids? Call in a babysitter or plan to eat late once they have gone to bed – cooking together without distractions will create an experience that you can both remember fondly and gives you some good time to connect. What’s better than alone time with your loved one? Alone time with good food and a loved one.

2. You’ll build teamwork in your relationship. Learn to rely on each other and work together towards a common goal. Either choose one dish and divide up the tasks or divide up multiple dishes that each of you can be responsible for. You’ll have an opportunity not only to have a good time together, but to see how well you can problem solve. You’ll be able to use this as a good representation of how you can work together as a team outside of the kitchen.

3. A connection will be formed over learning together and trying new things. There’s nothing more exciting than taking on a new skill, and what’s better than showing each other a thing or two in the process? You’ll both improve your skills in the kitchen, by watching, doing, and learning.

Whether it’s one of your first few times in the kitchen or it’s on a dish you have never made before, you’ll be able to connect over the experience and who knows – you might find a mutual interest to keep coming back to for regular activities to do together!

4. You’ll be encouraged to have fun and be romantic! How often do we forget to have a good time without scheduling it in? Rules of Men That Women Need to Know

We keep getting all these, “rules from the woman’s side” emails, so we figured it was time for a “rules from the man’s side” email. These are our rules! Learn them, memorize them and use them!

1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You’re a big girl. If it’s up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don’t hear us whining about you leaving it down.

2. Sometimes we are not thinking about you. Live with it.

3. Saturday means sports. It’s like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Just let it be.

4. Crying is blackmail.

5. Ask for what you want. Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!

6. We don’t remember days. Mark them on a calendar and remind us frequently.

7. Don’t cut your hair, EVER. Long hair is always more attractive than shorter hair. One of the big reasons that guys fear getting married is because married women always cut their hair, and by then, you’re stuck with her.

8. Yes and No,are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

9. Come to us with a problem only if you want us to help you solve it. That’s what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

10. Check your oil! Please.

11. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.

12. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.

13. If you think you’re fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us. We refuse to answer that question anymore.

14. If something we said can be interpreted in two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.

15. Let us look.It doesn’t hurt anyone, to look. And for us, it’s genetic.

16. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.

17. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.

18. ALL men see in only 16 colours. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. We have no idea what mauve is.

19. We are not mind readers and we never will be. Our lack of mind-reading ability is not a proof of how little we care about you.

20. If we ask what is wrong and you say “nothing” we will believe you.

21. If you asks us a question that you don’t want the answer to, expect an answer you don’t want to hear.

22. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine.

25. It is neither in your best interest or ours to take any quiz together. No, it doesn’t matter which quiz.

26. BEER is as exciting to us as handbags are to you.

27. Our relationship will never be like it was the first 2 months we dated. Get over it and stop whining to your friends.
