The Story Of A Pencil And An Eraser

I would like to share this very touching story about the pencil and the eraser. It would only show or describe how a person make such sacrifices just to keep a memorable relationship.

PENCIL: You know, I'm really sorry.

ERASER: For what? You didn't do anything wrong.

PENCIL: I'm sorry. You get hurt because of me. Whenever I make a mistake, you're always there to erase it, but as you make my mistake vanish you lose a part of yourself. Every time you erase it, you get smaller and smaller.

ERASER: That's true, but I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though, one of these days, I know I'll be gone and you have to replace me with a  new one, I'm actually happy with my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad.

Reflections

Try to reflect about these things… You may not realize it, but it’s 100% true.

1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would give up everything for you.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. If not for you, someone may not be living and get through the struggles of life.

8. You are unique and special to one person dear to you.

9. Someone that is miles away from you that really exists, loves you.

10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

11. When you make a certain decision at that moment and you think it was right. But later you realize that you were wrong. Turn around and go back to where you left it, it might not be too late.

12. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
13. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won’t get it. But if you believe in yourself, probably sooner or later, you will get it.

14. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

15. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know.

16. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.

17. If you truly love someone, don’t hesitate to say “I LOVE YOU” because you might not have the chance to say it and let the person know how you feel.

18. Once in your life you will find someone who will love you truly. Never take them for granted. Always take the time to be with them because you’ll never know what happens next.

19. Never get tired of doing little things to other because sometimes little may mean so much to someone.

20. Cherish every moment you spend with someone who is close and dear to your heart because it's not every day that we are given the chance to experience the wonderful things that's going on in our lives.

The Importance Of An Apology

Apologizing doesn't come easily to most of us. The Bible, however, offers us instances of people who apologized when they acted wrongly, and we can learn from their example.

On one occasion, for instance, the apostle Paul was arrested and taken before an assembly of religious leaders. He spoke very bluntly to the high priest, not realizing who he was and was rebuked for speaking disrespectfully to such an important official. Paul immediately apologized for his action, enabling him to continue with his defense.

Have you ever wondered why it is so hard to apologize at times? One reason is pride. We hate to admit we were wrong. But the Bible says that pride is sin: "I hate pride and arrogance" ~ Proverbs 8:13

If apologizing is difficult for you, ask God to help you overcome your pride. Saying I'm sorry with a sincere and humble heart can make a huge difference in relationships, marriages, and in our lives.

Describing Our Lives Beautifully

As we grow up, we all have learn that even one person who wasn’t supposed to put you down, one day they would probably do it. You would experience having your heart broken not only once, but probably more than that and it’s getting harder every time you experienced it with people whom you love the most. You’ll experience to break other people’s heart, so always remember how it felt when yours was broken. You would also experience that you blame a new love for the things that the past did to you. One day, you would cry because time has been cruel to you and you didn’t get to experience the love that you truly deserve, eventually, you lose someone you love. There comes a time in your life where you will have a fight with your best friend, but at the end of the day everything seems so perfect.

The best thing that we should do, so that we would learn to appreciate life every day is to take as many pictures as you can, laugh too much like there’s no tomorrow, and love like you’ve never been hurt before because every 60 seconds that we spend being upset about life and living a life full of regrets is a minute of happiness that you’ll never get it back.

Don’t be afraid that one day your life would end because we only borrowed our time while living in this world. Be more afraid if your life never exists and you never get the chance to experience the wonderful things that life has to offer. We should all know that life has its own ending and a new beginning. All we have to do is to face all these challenges with a smile in our hearts and embrace the kind of life that was prepared for us, so that we could face a wonderful life with more blessings each day. Let’s make our everyday lives a miracle, not only to ourselves but to others as well. This is how we should be describing our lives beautifully.
