Women Needs To Stand Strong

Things a woman should never apologize for and I’m telling you…

1. Never apologize for pursuing what makes you happy even if you need to quit your job, transfer schools, or move across a different country. Always do what you really want.

2. Never apologize for using proper English. Keeping it real does not mean speaking Ebonics.

3. Never apologize for giving your best in a relationship that just did not work out.

4. Never apologize for being successful.  Only haters want to keep you at their level.

5. Never apologize for crying. Wear waterproof mascara and express yourself freely.

6. Never apologize for still being single. You are being picky or choosy with the guys you date. You’re not even looking for the perfect man because there are no such things as perfect. You are waiting for the right man.

7. Never apologize for those ten pounds you need to lose. People who truly care about you will accept you for who you are.

8. Never apologize for being frugal. Just because you save your money instead of blowing it on the latest fashion emergency, does not mean you’re cheap.

9. Never apologize for being a single Mom. Having a baby is a blessing.

10. Never apologize for treating yourself to something special. Sometimes, you have to show yourself some appreciation.

11. Never apologize for leaving an abusive relationship. Your safety should always be a priority.

12. Never apologize for keeping the ring even if you won’t hear the wedding bells chime.

13. Never apologize for setting high standards in a relationship. You know what you can tolerate and what simply gets on your nerves.

14. Never apologize for saying NO.

15. Never apologize for asking what you want in bed. If you don’t, then who will do that?

16. Never apologize for wearing a weave. You bought it, so it’s yours.

17. Never apologize to your new friends about old friends. There’s a reason why they became a part of your girl friends since day one.

18. Never apologize for ordering dessert or probably more than one dessert.

19. Never apologize for dating outside your race. Just because you found Mr. Right across the color line does not mean you don’t love your own race or culture.

20. Never apologize for not knowing how to cook. Even if you can’t burn like Grandma does at least you know how to order a good take out meal.

21. Never apologize for your taste in clothes. It’s your style.

22. Never apologize for changing your mind.

23. Never apologize for exercising your right to choose. Besides it’s your body and you know what’s best and good for you.

24. Never apologize for making more money than your man. You work hard and you deserve to get paid.

25. Never apologize for being just yourself. Keep your head up high and keep moving forward!

For all the ladies out there… don’t let yourself put you down. Be brave because in the end you will gain what you truly deserve.  It is always worth a try to do all of these things!

There's Always A Reason Why...

Sometimes people come into our lives and we knew it right away that they were meant to be there… to serve a purpose, to teach us a lesson, or to help us figure out who we are or who we want to become. We’ll never know who these people may be, but when we try to look at them inside our hearts with eyes wide open, at that very moment we would definitely know that we are with them. In the most unexpected or profound way they will create some changes in our lives.

Sometimes things happen to you at the same time that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair. But trying our best to reflect to all of these things we would realize that without overcoming all these obstacles we would have never realize our potential, strength, will power, and for possessing a good heart.

The things we encounter every day happen for a reason. It doesn’t happen by mere chance or by means of good luck, illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity. All of these things happen to test the limits of our soul because without these small tests, our life would be like a smoothly paved, straight flat road to nowhere. Yes, we could have a safe and comfortable life, but it could be dull and utterly pointless which doesn’t make any sense at all.

The people we meet affect our life. All the success and downfalls that we experience would help us become the person we are right now and we would learn something from the bad experiences we had. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurt us, betray us or break our heart – we should somehow learn how to forgive them because they have helped us learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom we open our heart. If someone love us, we have to love them unconditionally not only because they love us, but also because they are teaching us to love and open our heart and eyes to little things.

We talk to people who we have never talked to before and actually listen. We should let ourselves fall in love, even if it doesn’t seem right because we are too young or too far from that person, just follow our heart. We have to surround ourselves with those who make us smile, laugh, and make us happy. Break free and set our hopes high. Let’s hold our heads up high because we have every right to do it. We should always remind ourselves that we are a great individual and we believe in the things that we are capable of doing it, for if we don’t believe in ourselves, no one else would believe in us. Make every day count. We need to learn how to appreciate every moment and take everything from every possible way we could for we may never be able to experience these things again. Let’s create our own life, then we have to let go and live with it.
