Women Needs To Stand Strong

Things a woman should never apologize for and I’m telling you…

1. Never apologize for pursuing what makes you happy even if you need to quit your job, transfer schools, or move across a different country. Always do what you really want.

2. Never apologize for using proper English. Keeping it real does not mean speaking Ebonics.

3. Never apologize for giving your best in a relationship that just did not work out.

4. Never apologize for being successful.  Only haters want to keep you at their level.

5. Never apologize for crying. Wear waterproof mascara and express yourself freely.

6. Never apologize for still being single. You are being picky or choosy with the guys you date. You’re not even looking for the perfect man because there are no such things as perfect. You are waiting for the right man.

7. Never apologize for those ten pounds you need to lose. People who truly care about you will accept you for who you are.

8. Never apologize for being frugal. Just because you save your money instead of blowing it on the latest fashion emergency, does not mean you’re cheap.

9. Never apologize for being a single Mom. Having a baby is a blessing.

10. Never apologize for treating yourself to something special. Sometimes, you have to show yourself some appreciation.

11. Never apologize for leaving an abusive relationship. Your safety should always be a priority.

12. Never apologize for keeping the ring even if you won’t hear the wedding bells chime.

13. Never apologize for setting high standards in a relationship. You know what you can tolerate and what simply gets on your nerves.

14. Never apologize for saying NO.

15. Never apologize for asking what you want in bed. If you don’t, then who will do that?

16. Never apologize for wearing a weave. You bought it, so it’s yours.

17. Never apologize to your new friends about old friends. There’s a reason why they became a part of your girl friends since day one.

18. Never apologize for ordering dessert or probably more than one dessert.

19. Never apologize for dating outside your race. Just because you found Mr. Right across the color line does not mean you don’t love your own race or culture.

20. Never apologize for not knowing how to cook. Even if you can’t burn like Grandma does at least you know how to order a good take out meal.

21. Never apologize for your taste in clothes. It’s your style.

22. Never apologize for changing your mind.

23. Never apologize for exercising your right to choose. Besides it’s your body and you know what’s best and good for you.

24. Never apologize for making more money than your man. You work hard and you deserve to get paid.

25. Never apologize for being just yourself. Keep your head up high and keep moving forward!

For all the ladies out there… don’t let yourself put you down. Be brave because in the end you will gain what you truly deserve.  It is always worth a try to do all of these things!

There's Always A Reason Why...

Sometimes people come into our lives and we knew it right away that they were meant to be there… to serve a purpose, to teach us a lesson, or to help us figure out who we are or who we want to become. We’ll never know who these people may be, but when we try to look at them inside our hearts with eyes wide open, at that very moment we would definitely know that we are with them. In the most unexpected or profound way they will create some changes in our lives.

Sometimes things happen to you at the same time that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair. But trying our best to reflect to all of these things we would realize that without overcoming all these obstacles we would have never realize our potential, strength, will power, and for possessing a good heart.

The things we encounter every day happen for a reason. It doesn’t happen by mere chance or by means of good luck, illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity. All of these things happen to test the limits of our soul because without these small tests, our life would be like a smoothly paved, straight flat road to nowhere. Yes, we could have a safe and comfortable life, but it could be dull and utterly pointless which doesn’t make any sense at all.

The people we meet affect our life. All the success and downfalls that we experience would help us become the person we are right now and we would learn something from the bad experiences we had. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurt us, betray us or break our heart – we should somehow learn how to forgive them because they have helped us learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom we open our heart. If someone love us, we have to love them unconditionally not only because they love us, but also because they are teaching us to love and open our heart and eyes to little things.

We talk to people who we have never talked to before and actually listen. We should let ourselves fall in love, even if it doesn’t seem right because we are too young or too far from that person, just follow our heart. We have to surround ourselves with those who make us smile, laugh, and make us happy. Break free and set our hopes high. Let’s hold our heads up high because we have every right to do it. We should always remind ourselves that we are a great individual and we believe in the things that we are capable of doing it, for if we don’t believe in ourselves, no one else would believe in us. Make every day count. We need to learn how to appreciate every moment and take everything from every possible way we could for we may never be able to experience these things again. Let’s create our own life, then we have to let go and live with it.

What I Want The Most Is...

Written by: Maria Elouisa E. Enerlan

I want someone to wake me up early in the morning and bring me to the beach to watch the sunrise.
I want someone to be there for me when no one else could.
I want someone to show me that they care about me in every possible way.
I want someone to be there for the good and bad times.
I want someone to truly see me and know exactly how to understand my own feelings.
I want someone who would appreciate everything I do, even the smallest of all things.
I want someone to miss me and think about me whenever I am not around.
I want someone that I can have a sensible conversation with, all day and all night.
I want someone I can laugh with about life and with some good old stories to share with.
I want someone to caress me all night long and make me feel comfortable every moment we spend together.
I want someone to hold me close throughout the night and make sure that everything would be alright.
I want someone to kiss me like it was always our first kiss.
I want someone to make love to me with all the passion that the whole world could ever imagine.
I want someone who can’t wait to hug me right after being away from each other for a while.
I want someone to know the things that would make me cry and what makes me smile.
I want someone to look into my eyes and see through my soul.
What I want the most is to have someone who would love me as much as I’m willing to love them back for the rest of my days.

The Lucky One

This is one of the famous quotes from the movie and novel by Nicholas Sparks, "THE LUCKY ONE"

You know, the small thing can change your life. In the blink of an eye something happens by chance when you least expect it. Since, you are in course you never planned into a future you never imagine. Where will it take you? That's the journey of our lives. Our search for the light. But sometimes, finding the light means you must passed to the deepest darkness. At least, that's how it was for me.

Everyone has their own destiny -- not even one makes a choice to follow it. Now I'm lucky, I did.

My Soul Mate

"IF YOU KNEW THAT MEETING YOUR SOUL MATE WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN YOUR LIFE?”

Two different souls, meet as one
It’s funny how I ask myself the same question when I woke up this morning.  I was lying on my bed having thoughts about my soul mate. YES, what IF my soul mate was just around the corner or what IF I already met him, but didn’t recognize that he was my long lost soul mate. What IF we already did a lot of fun and exciting activities together, but didn’t realize it because I was too caught up doing some other things. What IF he was already sitting right beside me sharing some interesting things and stories about himself. What IF he was the one who’s making me feel this good and happy about myself because seeing a simple yet the most beautiful smile and grin on his face would melt all the troubles away.

I came across with this short description about soul mate from Elizabeth Gilbert:

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. A soul mate's purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so out of control that you have to transform your life..."

Now, I start thinking what is really a soul mate? How would I recognize if he was my soul mate? Would he just pop up in front of me like a bubble? I have so many questions going on my mind right now and I guess the only answer to my question is when my soul mate is standing right in front of me telling me, “Hey, I think I’ve met you before…” Funny as it may seem, I remember, I met someone out of an ordinary day, he looked at me and he smiled. By looking through his eyes he was like telling me, “You looked so familiar. Have we met before?” at the back of my mind too, I told myself that he looks so familiar and it seems like I already met him before…

I was hoping that in one ordinary fine day, we would recognize each other when our path crosses again. Throughout our lives we will find one person who is unlike any other. He is someone whom you could talk for hours and never get bored, you could tell them things and they won't judge you. This person is your soul mate, your best friend. Don't ever let them go because they are the ones who were made to spend a lifetime just to be with you.

Life Is Too Short

Our life in this world is too short to be anything but happy. Love deeply, forgive quickly, take chances, give everything with no regrets, and forget the past with exception of what you have learned and remembered because everything happens for a reason.

Embrace the beauty of life each day
We all know that opportunities are very rare and we have to be vigilant in protecting them. It’s not only the opportunities to succeed but the opportunity to laugh, to see the things that fascinates you, and to live because life doesn't owe us anything. In fact, I think we owe something to the world. Whether we choose to see it or not, our life is too short to worry about small things. Though some circumstances in our lives at the very moment may seem fairly significant, we must also realize that important are the things that will matter in ten to twenty years, or twenty to fifty years. Life is too short to sweat on the small stuff. We have to choose to live our lives in the present and for the future, instead of trying to live in the past. We must also live our lives doing the things and for the people that we are passionate about. Living a life without passion and without hope for the future is not really living your life at all. Remember that the next minute, hour, and day are not promised to you, and may be taken away from you at any time. Never let anything or any person stop you from pursuing the things that you are truly passionate about because our life is too short, so never waste time worrying about what people think of you. Hold on to the ones that care about you because in the end they will be the ones who will stay there for you.

I always believe in this saying, “Never waste a moment of your time in life because it may be the last with someone you love." which is basically true because life is too short to be wasted on such insignificant things or events in our life. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it be. Then you will fully understand your purpose in this world and the real meaning of life through its existence.

Nothing is as sweet as you

Oh, my sweet Muskeeter!
Fly with me my Dove to Candy Land
To a forbidden place where the Skittles meet the rainbow
Lay under the Milky Way with me
We will ride your big Cadbury bike.

Let's gaze at the Starburst together
And share our Hershey Kisses as we Chupa Chups each other's lips
We can melt into the delicious taste of M&M's
Just you and me in this sweet bliss of Fun Dip.

Sweet candies craze
When the moon begins to Twizzler
We will be in each other's arms like Nerds
I never knew how much of a Toblerone you could be
Your heart is as soft and fragile like a Quench Gum.

There are Zero people like you that would melt my heart like a Nestle Crunch
You're my Life Saver in this crazy world
I love all your little Snickers jokes
And your Krackel breath tickles every time you whisper Chuckles in my ears
I always feel safe when you wrap your Butterfingers around me
That is the reason why I always love to hug you like a Gummy Bear.

Delicious chocolate bars craze

You always know how to make me smile and feel Curly Wurly with all your Smarties ways
And I want to share all my Nips to you until we reach the Mars
We Kit Kat together like a Lion Peanut in Macademia
Now and later, I will always be your Tootsie Pop girl forever.

Like Cow Tales in a Cloud Nine
You’re all the Payday I'll ever need
Coz I wouldn't trade you for 100 Grand in 5th Avenue
I will be Forever Yours, my huggable Popsicle man.
